Castlery is a direct-to-consumer e-commerce furniture retailer that designs and produces stylish, modern furniture at a competitive price point, without compromising on quality.

Founded in Singapore in 2013, it was started by a group of design aficionados who share a common belief - that good design, quality, and affordability need not be mutually exclusive. By cutting out the middleman and keeping inventory lean, Castlery extends these savings to customers, in an effort to make great design accessible to many. Job Responsibilities

Castlery is building a new Quality Engineering Team based in Vietnam as part of our growth and expansion plan, and we are currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector to be based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. You’ll be reporting our as QC Manager, based in Vietnam, and will be responsible for all Quality Control throughout the entire production stage. Your job responsibilities are as per below.

The main duty is to perform inline inspection, final inspection, and other assigned inspection duties at the factory location.
Perform factory evaluations.
Ensure goods shipped are conform to Castlery’s requirement and specifications.
Follow up with the factory for the quality improvement action plan.
Involved in the product development stage to conduct sample check, packaging test, and perform any in-house test related to constructions, coatings, and other necessary tests.
Provide technical support to another team.

Requirements

5 years of experience in a Quality Control position or similar.
Experience in the Furniture industry is a must.
Ability to work independently.
Able to communicate fluently in English to liaise with Singapore HQ and China counterparts.
Ability to travel on short notice.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
